Ya mam in West African language Moore means This is me.
DANCE CEREMONY – Critique of the play
Bravo! Maša Kagao Knez brings us a wonderful performance
The beginning of the dance, as well as the moments strongly expressed through flexible movements, have the ability to tell us the author’s story from the very inside of the art of movement and Maša’s strongly playful liveliness… The dance performance YaaMaam, a solo performed by Maša Kagao Knez is a song by an original and unique author of the Slovenian independent scene. It connects the African heritage of rhythm and dance with modern trends. Moreover, this piece deals with this the superiority of the choreography in contemporary dance. Well done, Maša!
