FIGURINE

Video, choreography, performance: Stošija Zrinski
Music: Frédéric Chopin, Prelude, Op. 28, No. 15
Technical support: Tomislav Zrinski

The video depicts a dance performance featuring a playdough figurine. The venue is elegant, and the event enjoys a significant turnout. The audience members express a range of emotions and opinions as they attentively observe the figurine’s movements, which are inspired by Frédéric Chopin’s Prelude, Op. 28, No. 15. The scene alternates between the performance by the playdough figurine and a human dancer, both embodying the same quality of movements and drawing inspiration from the same source. Figurine is one of the author’s first experimental films and often serves as an initial inspiration for other artistic creations.

BEASTS

A game of landscape, choreography, music, voice and movement as a reminder to the individual that we are part of the same circle around the Sun.

Continuing the solo performance BESTIA, the video BEASTS includes a collective of dancers who, in a parallel reality, are sorceresses, guardians and protectors of pristine nature. Creating new and respecting old rituals calls for mystical femininity, transcendence, and at the same time endless openness and secrecy.

SUN
HER
SET

Author: Matea Bilosnić
Dancer: Nataša Kustura
Director of photography: Vladimir Miketa
Sound: Stefan Košević

Sun Her Set explores the interplay between human movement and natural landscapes, seamlessly merging choreography with the environment. The ad hoc movement development allows the body to respond spontaneously to the terrain and atmosphere. How does the persistence of change shape the relationship between movement and the landscapes that inspire it?
