As part of the 17th Monoplay, a dance criticism workshop will be held on 22 and 23 August 2025, organized by the Croatian Association of Theatre Critics and Scholars in cooperation with the University of Zadar and the festival.
The workshops in performing arts criticism, organized within the Critical Polygon project, are intended primarily for students but are also open to all interested participants. Their aim is to encourage active and engaged reflection on the performing arts and to strengthen creative and analytical thinking.
Each workshop consists of an introductory discussion, collective attendance at a performance, and a discussion following the show. The Monoplay workshop will be led by dance critic and theatre scholar Ivana Slunjski.
